in my 1997 Ford F150 How can I disable the door chime?

How can I disable my door when my key ring is in the on and the door is open .. I have a 1997 Ford F150

97 F150 ignition chime is soldered to the circuit board in the GEM module, which has it's own fuse, and without a big headache that can not be disabled. We have a lot of customers that are livestock and hunting that do not like the noise is / when they open the door, the best solution we have found is to remove the steering column is concerned, pull the lock cylinder and remove the wire that indicate the module GEM is the key in the ignition. Only the ribbon cable to the end and you can always connect again if desired.
