How can I hang a tapestry?

I bought a cotton rug to cover a large part of my wall of my dorm this semester, but I will be fined by using nails or tacks. Can someone suggest a way to hang so that there is going to fall repeatedly? Thank you!

Sew a wooden peg to the back of the tapestry. Thread behind the pin and some string to tie loops. Or you could run the thread through the tapestry and attach it to a curtain rod. temporary attach some hooks (Command adhesive hooks) to the wall. Then hang the tapestry of the hooks. When it comes time to remove the carpet, just take down and remove the storm of the hooks. (They will stay up as long as you want, but can be removed without a trace.) You can buy wooden pegs and hooks Adhevsive Command in the hardware store.
