How can I get my board to stay on the wall?

The sticky stuff that came with my board are useless, the first set, used, fell off the wall within the hour. 3M Command Hooks I, fell off the wall. The hangers 3m actually took a large piece of wall paint. The board is 2 feet by 2 feet and only 1 / 2 inch thick.

Mine had a small hook on the back, I used a nail, or T-pins to hang the board. If the Slate has a hook on the back, you can attach a hook, then use a T-Pin in preference to the gallows.
